Carl Roy's Oral History Videos -- Life in Victor, Colorado: A four-part series of videos produced from an Oral History Interview with former Victor resident Carl Roy.
Representatives of the Victor Heritage Society interviewed former Victor resident Carl Roy at his Penrose, Colorado home in September 2019. Carl talked about his life and family, his many jobs while living in Victor, his role in Search and Rescue activities, the underground gold mines / tunnels where he worked and explored, and much more.
The interview video was enhanced with photos, supplemented with clarifying information, and divided into four parts which are accessible on the Victor Heritage Society YouTube Channel. Carl Roy was 76 years young at the time of the interview where two of his daughters (Carla and Sandra) were also present. Thanks to Shirley Beach (who coordinated arrangements for the interview) and Marion Zachary (who videoed, enhanced and edited the interview into four parts).
